Beyond the Pale has been pre-empted this month during WBAI's spring fund raising marathon.  But this Sunday we're back on air with a two-hour fund raising marathon special in collaboration with Janet Coleman and David Dozer of The Next Hour, which airs on WBAI in the hour just before Beyond the Pale.

We'll be talking with pop-music icon Neil Sadeka, who is being honored next month by the Folksbiene, the venerable Yiddish theater and with Lorin Sklamberg of the Klezmatics, among other guests and offering lots of premiums.

You can show your support for Beyond the Pale and The Next Hour by calling in today between 11am and noon: (212) 209-2950 and contributing whatever you can afford.

We'll be back with our regular programming on June 3rd.

"As a good Hebrew, I wanted to be a border runner... a messenger of values of fraternity, solidarity, and the prospects of coexistence, a coexistence based on respect, equality, and cooperation; a border smuggler; and a transgressor of the taboos that pressure us to shrivel up in a jingoistic identity." -Michel Warschawski
