Brooklyn For Peace presents:
Five Months in Gaza: Report from Behind the Prison Walls

Max Ajl, a veteran of the Gaza Freedom March of December 2009-January 2010, finally got into Gaza in March after being held for several weeks in Cairo. He will report on his five months in Gaza and answer questions about the political and humanitarian situation there, the flotilla, and what next steps solidarity activists can take to break the siege.

Max Ajl is a doctoral student at Cornell and author of the blog Jewbonics, and has written for many outlets, including the Guardian, the New Statesman, and Boston Review. He worked with the International Solidarity Movement in Gaza and wrote widely on Israeli human rights violations during his time there.
