Maria Muentes of Families for Freedom reports that Amtrak and Greyhound have been allowing agents for Immigration and Customs Enforcement  (ICE) to launch surprise inspections of passengers travelling through upstate New York.  Passengers who cannot provide evidence that they in the U.S. legally are detained and some have been put into deportation proceedings.

The Jewish Awareness Movement aims to engage Jewish college students--especially those who are unaffiliated with little or no Jewish background--in ultra-Orthodox practice.  Amanda Milstein interviewed some of these students and describes JAM's aggressive tactics.
