Electronic Intifada

The Electronic Intifada is an online publication produced by a small network of pro-Palestinian activists, focused on countering bias in the media with a Palestinian point of view. Launched in 2001, the site is independent of any political affiliation, and bases its view of the conflict on the foundations of human rights and international law.

Haaretz (in English)

Haaretz is Israel's least tabloidy daily newspaper. It has a far wider range of opinions on its editorial pages than make it into the U.S. media. Israeli reporter Amira Hass has been living in the West Bank for several years, filing almost daily reports on the devastating effects of occupation.

"As a good Hebrew, I wanted to be a border runner... a messenger of values of fraternity, solidarity, and the prospects of coexistence, a coexistence based on respect, equality, and cooperation; a border smuggler; and a transgressor of the taboos that pressure us to shrivel up in a jingoistic identity." -Michel Warschawski
